I can't understand brahmari from the ayp book
« on: August 17, 2006, 10:28:33 PM »
I can't figure out how to do the brahmari breathing either from the ayp book or from the web.

In the ayp book it says in brahmari the restriction of air should be made with the vocal cords, but the problem is I can't figure out in my throat what the vocal cords are.

Furthermore some sites on the web call brahmari nose snoring, i.e snoring through the nose my making the soft palate vibrate... I guess this is a different breath than the one ayp talks, am I right?

Thanks for the help,

As you breath out make or better still vibrate a humming sound you find the vocal cords automatically that's all, you don't try to concentrate on them, hope this helps [:)]
