sure do.
The blood flow to your brain is absolutely crucial for energy levels + concentration + alertness. The combination of these three = quality work produced.
Your level of cognitive function varies with what is going on in your body and metabolism. For example, you probably notice you're less alert and more tired after eating a meal.
So how to improve?
Asanas - There's no need to travel to yoga class to do a few quick asanas which will energise you, increase blood flow to your brain, and give you a quick increase to your energy level. I do a 5-10 minute routine which involved the 5 tibetan rites and i'll integrate a few yoga postures. You can do this even if you feel tired, and it will wake you up. Just push yourself to do even 2-3 minutes, it doesn't have to be taxing, but do it every day, especially when you need to wake up. Visual instructions on the rites are here
http://www.mkprojects.com/pf_TibetanRites.htmGreen juice/green smoothie for breakfast - I often have about a pint of green juice for my breakfast. I might have the juice of say spinach, green apple, celery and ginger. Ginger enhances your metabolism and improves/stimulates circulation. Instead of breakfast, have a pint of green juice, you'll find it easier to concentrate and have more energy.
Obviously don't consume junk food, cut out sugar and refined carbs as all these negatively impact your concentration.
In terms of supplements, omega 3 is awesome for concentration. Google it - omega 3 health benefits. But you need to get a high quality one or your might as well not bother - check the source of the omega 3, a high quality product will tell you which type of fish the supplement came from, it should be a wild fish, and they should be checking the fish for low mercury content.
Thats my two cents.
