Apologies to all who have been uncomfortable with the "open" posting
in this new group so far. The goal is to find a balance between
openness and the necessary restrictions. And we will. I think
everyone should have the opportunity to share their practices and
approaches to spiritual development, whatever they may be. That is
what the integrative (scientific) process of yoga is about. On the
other hand, if it turns to proselytizing, or outright spam, it should
(and will) be stopped. The recent offender has been taken care of, as
have some others who never even got posted here. Moderating at the
moment is set for new members only, combined with a daily monitoring
of the postings. So please know that this group is being closely
watched, and adjustments will be made going forward as deemed
necessary by the majority. What you say here is heard.

More than anyone, I wish to see an ongoing, productive discussion of
the AYP practices here. At the same time, everyone should be able to
share freely. So I am inclined to try and keep it as open as
possible. Be assured that anyone who steps over the line too many
times will be limited.

With so many people here, the volume of postings can be daunting.
There is the option on the group home page to change your delivery
preference to "daily email digest" or "no email - web viewing only."
With the latter, the posts can be reviewed selectively on the web
fairly quickly, focusing on those of the most interest.

In time, I am sure a balance will evolve, so those who are here can
find a good experience, without having the overall discussion limited
too much.

Thank you so much to those of you who have come forward and openly
discussed your experiences with the AYP practices. It takes courage
to do that. You are a divine blessing here, and I think many have
been helped already. I encourage more of you to speak up. That is one
good way to bring the discussion around more toward AYP. It is your
group, and it will go where you take it -- To unshakable inner
silence, ecstatic bliss and outpouring divine love, I hope!

To those arriving here who don't know about AYP, it is suggested you
take a look at the lessons, starting at the beginning. The various
sources are listed on the home page of this group. Most who have read
the lessons agree they are pretty good food for thought on the all-
important subject of spiritual practices, and the resulting inner
awakenings that occur. Whether you are a beginner in yoga, or an old
hand, the lessons can be a useful resource.

Best wishes as you proceed on your chosen spiritual path. Enjoy!

The guru is in you.

PS -- Due to other commitments, I am rarely able to post here. If you
have a pressing question on practice that is not covered in the
lessons, or by others here, please email me privately.
