not to touch just to leave it alone
neither to fiddle nor peruse
maybe love can be just this
a truth that can become
left to grow of its own accord
maybe truth just needs time
to be left on the shelf
waiting doesn't seem too bad
when you know change is always there
never the same but resembling
what has gone before and what will come
creation with its rolling movement
with us just left to be ourselves
our own devices constructing future waves
