is it the touch or the anticipation
the feeling of love cannot be held
momentary and fleeting like a cloud
formed reformed unformed
dreaming of which shape to become
undying it carries you on and on
a continual gift a filling renewed
with every dream comes another
making the real really seem real
only small gaps appear from time to time
a slip here a fall there a gentle reminder
to keep awake to the dream of you
beyond the sleep of deeper thoughts
