Hi everyone,
A few people have asked me what we do about self-pacing on the AYP Teacher Training Courses, as it is a 29-day retreat. We basically treat self-pacing exactly the same way that it is taught in the AYP lessons. So, we encourage people to be aware of how the practices are affecting them during the course and to self-pace their practices accordingly.
Another question that has come up a few times about the TTC's is whether people need to be able to practice sitting on a cushion on the floor? Again, we follow the AYP guidelines on this, so it is not required. Most people on the courses do practice sitting on a cushion, simply because they are used to doing so at home. But, we also provide chairs for anyone who prefer to practice on a chair, and back support (sitting against a wall) is also available, for people who need it.

Hi all,
Last week someone asked if it O.K. to attend the AYP teacher training course even if they are not planning to teach yoga. The answer is, yes it is. Many people use teacher training courses as an opportunity to deepen their practice and knowledge about yoga. They still become certified through taking the course and can start teaching later if they want to.

Hi guys,
Unfortunately the AYP teacher training course will not be going ahead this year due to the global health crisis.
Remember, "this too shall pass".
Stay safe and well!
