we are all singing at the top of our voice
just listen and you will hear the needs of others
in that moment when you really connect
the gift of giving of yourself becomes the reason
the lord will ask of nothing expect no return
how our hearts ache for the language to love
letters to portray only beauty and colour
from the tongue comes our sound a billion years in the making
whats alive in you is the question to ask
the only worthwhile answer is the eternal soul
from where comes all the songs and poems
that describe a need to know the lord and sing my song
