anatomical view of SBP channel

I thought this was an interesting image of the brain.  Note how the mid-brain extends forward into a thin path toward the pituitary body. Looks like a branch hanging down.  

Just thought it was reminiscent of the spinal breathing instructions.   But, I doubt this has anything to do with the actual esoteric anatomy involved in SBP.   http://www.bartleby.com/107/Images/large/image715.gif
