What?s your ontake on ssri and meditation?
Have taken it on a quite low dose lately because of worry.
Want to ween it of as soon as possible due I dont want to start this path before I?m of it.

Hi Marvin,
If your doctor prescribed you ssri medication, you should continue with it. There is no problem to be on ssri and learn to meditate. Read the lessons, starting here. If you want to be extra-cautious, you could practice deep meditation for only 10 minutes, twice a day, for two weeks. If you feel fine, you could increase your meditation to 15 minutes per session. After another two weeks, you could increase to 20 minutes. The standard practice is 20 minutes, twice a day.

You may want to talk also with your doctor about starting to meditate. Many doctors are very supportive, and they can advise you how to safely decrease your medication.
