This is the first time I?m sharing my own spiritual quotes with anyone but myself . Just wrote these today...

I serve the world but it is selfish. It is merely to satisfy the persistent longing for God that rips me apart.

I am living my divine mission when I am soaking the world with my authentic self

I am the Divine layered in a thick coat of human baggage

As suggested, do start a journal in this forum so all your threads can, together, make a fine tapestry.

Yes, at least the future ones. You could start a thread like: Chard's journal, Chard the Bard, Rainbow chard, Chardonaise :)

I shall use this thread as my writing journal...

For all those with a sense of humor I share this joke I just made up:

?The One-Day-Maybe-Reach-Enlightenment Policy

God, I have a few questions about your enlightenment policy:

1) How many dark nights of the soul equal enlightenment, minus of course the 276 1/2 that I?ve already had?

2) What?s your refund policy? If I?m not satisfied with the dark nights of the soul you require of me, can I return them without getting my human ego baggage back or is it all part of the deal?

3)Do you offer family packages and are they transferable? In other words, can I have my husband use all the dark nights of the souls while we as a family reach enlightenment? Or perhaps can we each have an equal amount of dark nights of the soul and split the enlightenment four ways?

Oh Nameless One, when I signed the One-Day-Maybe-Reach-Enlightenment Agreement I failed to read the fine print about the dark nights of the soul? Can you please waiver this clause??

In humor and lightness of heart! C

For those who live outside of the U.S., today is Valentine's Day in the U.S.- a day that we celebrate love and our loved ones.

As an expression of love, I shall share with you a few of the many love quotes I've written...

"...And finally, all of the love songs in the world make complete sense!"

"My mind has a million questions, and yet my heart not a single one."

"In the reflection of true love's eyes, we see the face of God in ourselves."

"Standing paralyzed on the sacred battlefield between love and duty, we relinquish our weapons at the feet of the Great Warrior." (that one was inspired by my reading Bhagvad Gita).

LOVE LOVE LOVE
LOVE FOR GOD, LOVE FOR MYSELF, LOVE FOR YOU
