advice for headaches
« on: April 19, 2007, 08:28:20 AM »
i've been having chronic headaches for the past10 or so monthes possibly longer.. i'm sure they are sinus because i've gotten an mri..

i also think that they are either crown chakra related or energy related.. i know that they are thought related.. i can specifically see what kind of problems are produced from the headaches that i have. when i'm confused the headaches are strengthened , act..

anyway, i'm kind of hesitant to take medication so i was wondering if anybody here could supply me with ways of dealing with this.. like diet and say if it really is a crown chakra imbalance how should i go abotu dealing with that?? any kind of help would be very appreciated, thank you

have you talked to your doctor? headaches can be caused by sugar imbalances like diabetes or hypoglycemia. I have the latter and have to watch what I eat.

You can kill the pain by increasing awareness of it.
When you have a headache, close your eyes, and try to visualize the pain. Try to see exactly where it is, see the shape of it, see the color of it, the texture, the smell, the sound, the taste. Go through all your senses and see if it registers. Is it pulsating, or cutting, or throbbing, etc? Keep all your attention on it. This should make it move, and that means it is starting to go away.
You can make all the pain go away this way. If it keeps coming back, there is probably a physical reason.
I got rid of the pain of a broken wrist bone for five months this way. It kept coming back, so I went to a doctor and he put a cast on.

namaste Eddy

touch yourself
place your hands where it hurts and breath
place your hands anywhere intuition tells you even if the areas dont seem related
love you

do eye cupping

clean your sinuses out neti kriya ( but take your time with this practice so you dont hurt your ears or turn youself completely off to it)

& if meditating on your crown area .. STOP there is no need to it wont bring awakening quicker just more rubbish ( generally)

but mostly listen to what feels right

maybe a nice long childs pose would be enough or down dog..

sometimes i feel strongly that i've already had a kundalini awakening and it's very very slowly stabilizing itself.. i don't like to think like that but it's extrmely hard considering my experiences.. i jsut read the first chapter of the gopi krishna book and i feel like i could have written it.. nobody keeps myself in check more than me.. but there's something up with my crown chakra, i can feel it stabilizing though but when that happens it feels like the last of me is just disapearing and i get apprehensive.. i want people to take me seriously.. ask me questions to see if it could be a possibility... i've recived a lot of good advice in these forums so far and i hope i can get some in here too.. thank you

its ok to let that just BE
its awake ok now what?so what?
we have no past or future just now BREATHE and allow shakti to do her thang

its not that we arent taking you seriously i dont think
but after kundalini wakes up
its most important to go back to chopping wood and carrying water

Yes very true Meenarashid,
If it is a crown problem, the worst thing you can do is think about it all the time and wonder what's wrong, etc. giving it attention.

And if it's not a crown problem, concentrating on it doesn't do any good either.
