So i've had awakened k symptoms for quite a while now. When i've meditated, I have experienced kriyas, lights, spinning & convulsions etc. Recently, I have felt the kundalini energy itself stirring and begin to rise from the base of my spine. This has been quite pleasurable and it seems to slowly rise up and then retreat back down again in waves. I was meditating about 10 minutes ago when the same thing happened again. However, this time the lower half of my body seemed to convulse and I felt it kind of suck the energy upwards and BAM! It was like someone punched me in the stomach with a fist made of lava. I got freaked out so I stopped meditating and I thought I was going to get sick but i'm okay now. The burning pain I felt soon turned to coldness but I still have felt like someone punched me hard in the stomach for the past 10 minutes.
I assume this was the solar plexus opening or something?? I'm unsure how to proceed as my intuition has been telling me that my method of naturally surrendering in meditation is safe & suits the process well, but that hurt like a bitch lol. Do I seek out a teacher or just accept and continue?
